Insurance and Financial Policies

Our professional team is dedicated to providing optimal care with the most convenient financial options. The cost of your treatment will vary, depending on your individual needs and treatment plan. Our financial coordinator will discuss the cost of your treatment, insurance coverage, and available payment options before you begin.

Our office accepts most major insurance plans, and are preferred providers for Delta Dental plans including Delta Dental of Washington.

Billing:  Payment for treatment is due at the time services are rendered unless alternate provisions have been made. For your convenience, we accept cash, checks, Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express and Care Credit.

Care Credit is a dental credit company that allows for extended payments with little or no interest.

Patients who are not covered by a dental benefits plan may request a 5% cash or check discount for payment in full on the day of service. For more details regarding financing and payment options, please contact our financial coordinator.

Dental Benefits (Insurance):  Please provide us with your dental benefit plan details. Note that we may not be a preferred provider for your plan. Where possible we will work with your insurance company (providing the necessary documentation) to collect payment. We bill your insurance as a courtesy to you.  The remaining balance is due at the time of treatment.

At your request, we can also submit an insurance pre-determination of benefits.  However, “pre-determination” of benefits is NOT a guarantee of payment by your insurance carrier.  Ultimately, the total cost of treatment is your responsibility. Payments that are disputed by the insurance carrier become the full responsibility of the patient 90 days after the date the claim was initially submitted.  We cannot be responsible for collecting your insurance claim or negotiating a settlement of a disputed claim.
